Throughout his successful career with the New York Yankees (1990-1996, 1999-2000), Jim had the reputation for significantly changing the momentum of several series’ by hitting clutch postseason home runs. Nicknamed ‘The King,” Leyritz is best known for his three-run home run off of Mark Wohlers, in the 8th inning of the 1996 World Series. As well as his 1999 , when Leyritz hit another home run in 8th inning of Game 4 of the World Series, against the Atlanta Braves.
